TechFit are proud to work with The Saoirse Foundation for the launch of the second Bumbleance
The Saoirse Foundation is an Irish charity working towards creating a better world for critically ill children all over Ireland. TechFit are currently working closely with The Saoirse Foundation to kit out a specially designed ambulance called the Bumbleance. This is the second Bumbleance to be worked on by TechFit and is being kitted out with state of art technology and control systems.
The Bumbleance is a modern interactive children’s ambulance service that transports critically ill children between home and national treatment centres, hospices and respite centres.
The Bumbleance is the brainchild of Tony Heffernan, who along with his wife Mary founded The Saoirse Foundation in March 2010 after their late daughter Saoirse was diagnosed with Batten Disease and sadly passed away in January 2011.
